A woman is called bitch because she is strong, intelligent and doesn’t take shit from anyone. She’s called a bitch because she’s ambitious, outspoken and doesn’t let anything stop her from accomplishing her dreams. She’s a bitch, as defined by society, because she challenges what’s natural…. does what makes her feel happy, and doesn’t accept society’s norms and rules - especially when said norms and rules are designed to keep her down.

Confession
You are entitled to nothing but the simple fact that you need to earn everything.
Isn’t that some shit though? You may think you’re entitled to the truth from somebody. You’re not. In order to gain anything from a person, you have to earn it. You have to build a relationship with someone and create that respect with one another to earn anything from them. Their friendship, trust, loyalty, love, it all has to be earned.
Fact of the matter is that no one owes you a thing. A complete stranger owes you nothing and even your best friend owes you nothing. It’s the truth. It’s also sad if you think about it because often times even when you’ve earned everything, they still give you nothing in return. Even when you’ve been there for them through thick and thin, you’ve supported them, and even given them everything of your being, they sometimes still do not acknowledge what you deserve.
That is the sad truth; sometimes earning it just isn’t enough. That’s when you just need to walk away. Honestly, you can only give so much of yourself until you realize that you don’t need to be unappreciated any longer.
What if?
What if you had just said “hello”?
What if you had never said “hello”?
What if you had just sat next to her?
What if you had never sat next to her?
What if you had just said how you felt?
What if you had never said how you felt?
What if you had just smiled at her?
What if you had never smiled at her?
What if you had just pressed “accept”?
What if you had never pressed “accept”?
What if you had just said you’re sorry?
What if you had never said you were sorry?
What if you had just said “I love you”?
What if you had never said “I love you”?
What if you had just complimented him?
What if you had never complimented him?
What if you had just gone with him when he asked you to?
What if you had never gone with him when he asked you to?
What if you had just apologized?
What if you had never apologized?
What if you had just told her how thankful you were that she was in your life?
What if you had never told her how thankful you were that she was in your life?
It just makes you wonder how different life could’ve been either way, right? It’s such a trip how different your life could be if you had just made one single choice, you know? I, for one, would rather choose to live a life of “What if I had never…” because that just means I took the risk instead of being scared of it. Sometimes, it’s something I’ve got to work on.
So, you can either worry about the “What if I had just…” moments for the rest of your life or you could wonder about “What if I had never…” moments. Which life would you rather wonder about? The one that can never happen or the one that would’ve happened if you never made that one single choice that changed it all?
Beauty is in the eye of the superficial.
Oh, so you’ve completely overlooked someone you think is attractive? You’ve simply passed by anyone who is “hot/handsome/beautiful/fine” without so much as a second look. You’ve never found interest in another person because you thought they were the least bit appealing to the eye. You’ve never admired someone because of their beauty. You’ve never once worried about what others thought of you or how you looked. You’ve never spent the extra five minutes just to make sure that your hair was looking right. You’ve never once looked in a mirror to see that you looked decent before leaving the house.
Really? Well, damn, you must be a god. You must be someone that is simply above the rest of us simple human beings who give into these superficial tendencies time and again. You’re just that amazing, right? Well, I’m fully aware that looks do matter. Look in a magazine, watch television, or look outside your window and try to tell me otherwise. Tell me that supermodel on the billboard with nothing but her underwear is a figment of my imagination. Tell me that the men working out in the gym for hours at a time aren’t really there. Tell me that the girl throwing up in the bathroom is just a fluke.
So again, you want to tell me that looks don’t matter? If you do, I’ll just tell you that you’re full of it. Try and convince me that you’ve never once given two shits about what you looked like or what another looked like and I’ll tell you to save it. Stop trying to fool me and especially yourself when you say looks don’t matter. Sorry, “Mama didn’t raise no fool.”
We are all guilty of being superficial. I openly admit to it and I see no problem with it. I’ve accepted the fact that looks matter in this world. The rest of you who want to deny it just need to look around and finally face the facts too. We are all human; it’s time to get used to it.
Hello, and your name is?
Isn’t it amazing how you can develop such strong bonds with people in an instant? You can get so close to someone that you eventually become aware of their ins and outs. Isn’t it amazing how you can be the best of friends and it’s as though nothing can tear you two apart. It’s simply funny isn’t it, that the world has the capabilities of working that way?
It’s even funnier when that same person can suddenly become a complete stranger to you. There ins and outs become so unfamiliar. Magically, it’s like you’ve never known them, better yet, that you’ve ever met them in your life. That bond you once had is nothing but broken now. That friendship you thought was unbreakable shattered before you could even blink.
If you ask me, that’s pretty funny. As a matter of fact, I think it may just be the most bittersweet comedy I’ve ever seen.
