There once was a time when I was dependent on you to make my day. If you just made it a point to check on me and talk for a while, that made my day all the better. If you didn’t it killed my entire day. Now I don’t need that at all because I rely on myself to make my own day. Never again will I depend on anyone but myself to make me happy. You see, if you check up on me now, it’s as though you’re just another person saying what’s up. It’s a new year and that means sticking with my new state of mind.
